All those exclusives for Sony, Microsoft and PC. Doesn't matter how good they are, how many there are. They don't matter to you since you only have one console. So that one Donkey Kong game wins E3 for you, since it's the only thing relevant to you.

And don't try to pretend Ninty children are idorts. We all know they are allergic to realism and any artstyle that isn't kiddy shit. Most PCfags, Sony Ponies and Xbots have each others systems and switch it up and become idorts, often getting a Nintendo console here and there too. They honestly have won in 2016 and 2017 because they know how to get people excited, they show games that are interesting and look fun, and they don't just bullshit you with cinematic trailers. They had BotW last year which completely stole the show, and have Odyssey this year. Yes the whole Prime 4 thing was a bit lame but if you consider the context with how troubled Metroid has been recently, I think Nintendo wanted to assuage the fans a bit. I know personally I feel much happier knowing that Metroid is getting two games, even a few days ago I felt the series was in very dire straits.

Though that's not to say Microsoft's or Sony's conferences were "bad", they just weren't especially noteworthy this year. It was more eh, whatever. I'm actually surprised by how few heavy-hitters Sony showed. I was expecting stuff like TLOU2 or KH3, but the only noteworthy games were GoW and Spider-Man, neither of which look especially good unfortunately. And Sony lacked those really exciting hype announcements they've had in the past. Sure there was Monster Hunter but the trailer looked a bit iffy and it's also coming to PC.

Are you new OP? The failure of Nintendo's 2008 E3 was legendary. The following few Nintendo E3's were pretty terrible as well. Nintendo has been sorting itself out over the past few years and we are currently experiencing a renaissance of Nintendo games.

There is Nintendo bias because you can still discuss average or mediocre Nintendo games without the thread getting derailed. With other platforms even games that people are excited for, like Wolfenstein, get shit posted to death. The only people I see actually enjoying games for other systems are the Ace Combat and Dragon Ball guys.

The reason Nintendo always wins E3 as of late is because they keep showing interesting games. /v/ is not interested in "dudebro" games, and never has been. AssCreed, Uncharted, sports, Call of Duty, nu-Battlefield... none of them are popular here. Even niche indie PC games like Hollow Knight are more popular than every single one of those games on /v/.

The main problem with the sony conference is that it was a fucking rerun, it would be like if nintendo fell into the same trap they did with the wii u and talk about the same games for a couple of years that ended up being mediocre.
