The individual conferences sucked but in total there were a decent amount of good announcements

This was the e3 where most people talked about the games that didn't show over the games that did

This was the hangover e3, after years of getting megaton annoucnements of games that are coming no time soon, we got nothing but games we already know about that come out within the next year.

AND THEN FUCKING NINTENDO DROPPED 2 METROID GAMES WE ARE NOT FUCKING WORTHY

Wasn't terrible, but nothing amazing. I think next year is basically setup to be much better just because most of the bigger games shown will be out and they won't repeat themselves like Sony was doing.

Honestly one of the first times I wanted something from every conference.

I want Battlefront 2, The Crew 2, Destiny 2, SotC remaster, like 50% of what Xbox showed I'll be playing on the new X, Arms, Splatoon 2, and Mario Odyssey.

Even got some down the road surprises with MHW, Black Desert Online on Xbox, Yoshi + Kirby, and Anthem.

Honestly as an idort, this was a pretty fucking great E3.

It was okay. DBZ, Evil Within 2, Mario Odyssey, two Metroid announcements, Dissidia, Fire Emblem Warriors, Shadow of the Colossus remake, Xenoblade 2, Splatoon 2, and Metro look good. God of War look better than I expected. Spiderman was a disappointment though.

Overall there weren't many surprises but there was still a decent amount of good games shown.
