So Nintendo announced this thing a few hours ago

Honestly was the game that caught my eye the most...out of all of E3. Maybe it just speaks to my changing tastes, but I adore shit like this. Pocket Card Jockey was my GOTY last year.

I'm just surprised and bummed that it's 2018.

I don't know why idiots think Smash Bros. will be announced outside of their spotlight/conference. It's one of their biggest titles, not a niche or lesser series like Metroid.

I was arguing with some faggot in a thread earlier today, and he kept calling me "naive" because I told him that if Smash was coming, it would've been in the E3 Direct. He kept insisting it would be Nintendo's winter release. And he kept citing the Pokemon announcement in the E3 direct as "proof" that they might announce Smash in the treehouse stream.

Another thing that surprised me was how 2d it was. Normally Nintendo has been keen to use 3d with only some 2d or anime images in order to better show off the 3d depth of the 3DS projection. But this looks like something that could have come out on the normal DS lite. Not that that is a complaint
