Who else has been bit on the ass by firmware updates or at least company store pages being taken down and/or trimmed thin over time?
Pic related for me along with the older entries in the series, Sword and Poker 2 (FUCK Konami's aesthetically ugly and shitty pay-to-play practices version up the ass) and even S&P1 was enjoyable, After Burner Climax thanks to copyright faggotry, some okay-ish korean knockoff of Castlevania that I kind of enjoyed called DemonHunter (if I recall correctly that is. I wanted to beat it, but now I probably never will.), fucking RODLAND goddamnit.
Granted, I could emulate or dick around with firmware, but I can't just use my brand new phone and get my old stuff anymore (since I changed accounts and providers) and that's what I'm basically getting at.
Also, because the thread died before I could respond to >>380529135

I would say I wish there was a mobile game as good as Vanillaware's stuff, but honestly it would suck shit. Maybe not the game itself, but the fact that it was on mobile which would mean that whenever apple or google are feeling frisky and want to roll out a new firmware update, the game would immediately become unplayable.
There's decent-ish mobile games that I liked playing that I will never be able to normally play again due to all this update bullshit.
Fuck this gay earth.
fuck off mobile scum
