Hey /v/? How would you re-spark your love and passion for video games after years of disappointment and depression from the community?
There are tons of games worth playing that I never got around to. Thanks to emulation I can play a great deal of them while waiting for the occasional modern game to go on sale as the GOTY version.
My passion hasnt changed, just my strategy.

When I feel like that I usually go outside n' play: fishing, hiking, foraging, bird watching (highly recommend, birds are NEAT). Afterwards, I don't immediately jump back into a "modern" game, but instead play an old game that I already like: Mario 64, Banjo Tooie, Paper Mario, etc..
That usually does it for me.
