To me it's less of statement on the power of consoles and more that Bungie is a dev who prefers graphics to gameplay, or can't optimise for shit.

Going for better graphics and 30fps instead of 60fps with more limited graphics, especially for an FPS multiplayer shooter, is just a fucking stupid decision.

Bungie refuses to run their games at 60fps, they couldn't even do it for the Pro or hell even the vanilla Xbone or PS4, when both are capable of doing it (the game ran at 30fps on the 360 ffs)

This is a good point. Most multiplats will be developed to run on PS4 as a base and then shoveled on to Xbox and PC. Most devs aren't going to put the effort in to optimise the game for other systems. What a fucking depressing mess vidya has become.
