So a friend got me heart of thorns for gw2 i thought i might give it a shot since i like mmos.
Problem is that i got a physical copy of the game and when i try to install heart of thorns i get nothing.

I just get the loading screen but it doesn't load i would ask GW2 vg what to do but they are just off topic.

So pretty much i got a disk that doesn't work because i cant download heart of thorns at all does anyone know why?

don't use the launcher, copy the exe and rename it gw2.exe and then copy the .dat file in the same folder
