It looks like a tactics game meant for children. Very little unit customization, controlling viewing few units at once. There almost certainly won't be much challenge to it as Mario games are always very easy and it's an audience with little strategy game experience.

The exploring parts look it's only slightly more demanding than moving in a straight line and occassionally turning the camera to spot a 'secret' in the corner.

If you watch the demo videos it actually gets fairly interesting and plays around with a lot of concepts that other TBS don't even touch.

It has a very arcadey feel to it and brings a lot of crazy concepts to a genre that honestly lacks innovation, especially since there are like 5 TBS games out there.

Can someone explain this to me? Rayman Origins and Legends are far better games than the 3D ones ever were. Ubisoft did their own thing with Rabbids instead of using the Rayman brand.

Also the first Rabbids game was a 3D platformer before they changed it to a party game because the Wii motion controls. If anyone's to blame it's Nintendo.
