>announce the highly-anticipated sequel to your best-selling exclusive of all time
>don't breathe a word about it at E3 a few months later
What was the logic here?
Saving it for PSX, you dumdum.
>announce game before almost anything is done
>surprised that they have nothing to show for ages
It's like this is your first Sony exclusive.
>announce something at PSX that you state is in very early development
>don't show it till you can actually show it
PSX for sure, with a late 2018 release or early 2019
Everything at E3 from Sony was late 2017 or Q1/Q2 2018.

>he actually believes this
kek
Knack 2, Crash, GT Sport for 2017.
Early 2018 is God of War. That's it.
Days Gone MIGHT get Q2 release, but literally everything else comes out after E3 next year.

>show gameplay for Days Gone last year
>show more this year
Its going to come out like March, Spiderman is also early 2018 for sure.

>early 2018
>source: my ass
If it was early 2018, they would have said as much, it's not happening.
>scripted shit being indicative of a finished product
Days Gone also doesn't even have a release window yet. I will grant you that it is probably further along than anything besides God of War, so that's why I say MAYBE a Q2 release.

I think no date is partly because Bend is a smaller studio than Santa Monica, and the pipeline for getting a finished product on time is more likely. If they said a January 2018 release date it would likely be delayed several months. Bend was doing Vita shit for awhile now.

>highly-anticipated
>that shit
Shills on the clock

where is this gif from?

Yeah, and several months after January is April which is Q2.
The point is that at best, Sony has 2 games for 2018 before E3 so the claim of "lol Sony only announced games up to next year's E3" is silly.
MS on the other hand did exactly that except for Ori 2.
