The original rumor was that it will be released along with the Game of the Year edition of the game. It's been long past that and no game.

I doubt they postponed it to port the rest of the games. Each passing day the game(s) become more and more irrelevant, so if they have one running they would have released it.

Apparently, you we're one of them when DaS came out. The threads went to shit sometime after the PC release and have remained that way since.

I'm going to assume that just about anyone who was interested in the series has probably played one of the games at this point. Anyone buying this would probably already be a fan who wanted it on the go.

A remake/remaster for Demon's Souls would need all 3 companies to either come to an agreement or sell their part of the rights. A month or two before Bloodborne came out, Sony did an hour long stream of Demon's Souls. One of the Playstation guys playing actually worked on the localization during his time at Atlus. Both he and and the other employee talked about a remaster at length and said it'd be great to do, but a nightmare to actually make happen with all the legalities involved.
