Honestly don't have much hype for a new game at this point. It'd probably be mechanically sound and have a decent amount of new features, but the neutered dialogue has killed all the charm the series had. Snooty and cranky characters don't even act snooty and cranky anymore, and half the dialogue boils down to
>I want to do [quirky thing] with [quirky food]
>i heard a rumor that [villager A] and [villager B] did [quirky thing]
>basic tutorials when you're 200 hours in

How do you know they trimmed the dialogue further if they haven't even announced it? Because it sounds like the trimmed it completely since there's no game.
