They tried to go MLG esport with it and failed, the skill tree is restrictive and anti fun, it's not giving you more options but restricting them, the point of the Dungeon Keeper series for the most point was a no time limit sand box dungeon RTS.

WftO has every single mission timed by something, be it endless waves you cannot fend off forever and just have to "hold out" until a certain point, or an actual time limit to kill the 'ruler of the land'.

It tries to be Dungeon Keeper but it just limits you too much to be truly sandbox, everything feels linear and on the rails. And oh god the prison level. THE PRISON LEVEL.
