A tv show could actually work.
The main problem with video game movies is that they are usually too short to do the original stories justice. But a tv show could potentially fix that problem.

I can't say much since we don't have anything but an announcement, but i really hope it's good. If anything I hope it's a revisiting of past games so that it can generate interest in the series and lead to a new game(as long as Sanzaru doesn't touch it.)

Infamous is literally "babby's first superhero sandbox". The plot is dull as shit where none of your "moral choices" have meaningful impact, and the characters are some of the blandest, most unlikable in recent generations. It caught on for no reason other than Sucker Punch's pedigree and the PS3 having no decent superhero games beforehand.
