Panic Ploy is still awful, anon. It only even works if the unit has less HP than the user, meaning it's worthless after the first encounter so you can have your mage hit them, then use your movement assists to get them out of danger. Or, since Panic only takes effect for the subsequent action, you could move your unit and then dance them and they'd be buffed again. I really do not have high expectations of this skill. I don't have high expectations of Kagerou either, I barely use mine, but I don't think this is the nail in her coffin.

That just means you leave them out in the open to die instead of retreating them into the safe zone. The reason you take a dancer isn't to double a single target in the one shot meta full of vantages, it's to get the fuck out of harms way or to kill someone else and clear the immediate area.

I'm not saying it's a complete nail to her, but anything that hurts buffs will hurt her. You have no idea how many times my +atk Kagero just barely just barely kills a hero with exactly enough damage. Not even 1 hp margin of error anon. And for certain heroes, it's a big deal, such as Ryoma and Ike who depending on their IVs, your +4 hone results in them dying to Kagero. Without that hone? Oh right you just fall over as you activated vantage and they kill you.

With heroes like Kagero, they can only take a hit from a very slim picking of targets to bait, and this is me using Fury by the way, so there's nothing tougher than that unless you slap on HP seal which I some times do, but it's not always better than the +spd seal especially in TT.

Panic Ploy may not be so godly it completely ruins buff teams, but it definitely hinders how they set up, and that's important the more constrained the map is. Twin bridges, or that one with all bridges, what can you do? Nothing that's what, unless you're a flier meme team then you can at least put Bunmilla outside in the diagonal spaces. Oh wait Bunmilla is limited to greens, all by herself, and has garbage res/speed which makes her one of the harder to use blade tomers let alone ignoring how grabbing her meme buffs is 10x harder than cavs.

But again my point is Kagero belongs to the one shot meta, so anything that hinders offense will naturally hinder her.

I do it with Reinhardt, Xander, Camus, and Tharja.

Basically Rein kills 90% of the enemies and my other 2 horses simply reposition him in/out of danger. If it's a tight map I have Xander(more bulk) or Camus(more speed) step in and tank hits and kill with distant counter. Tharja exists as a bonus unit and Veronica slapper, outside of that she steps in to rarely kill greens and uses Reciprocal Aid to reset the HP of Xander/Camus going into the final map. Ideally the goal is to not take any damage and let Rein handle things but if I do have to take damage I try to limit it to one tank unit so Tharja can reset them later on.

I'm at 61,000 points and Reinhardt has about 6500 SP now.

The 2 skills you want are Renewal and Ardent Sacrifice. Reciprocal Aid can work instead of Ardent, but I find it can leave your Healcina to low to defend herself should the need arise, and the entire point of Healcina is to have a healer that can bitch slap a unit instead of being the one bitch slapped.

You could also add Breath of Life in the C slot for further heals.

I wouldn't use Fury, it's counterproductive to a healer build. Darting Blow would be a good option, making sure that when she attacks, she will most likely double.

I would go for something more defensive on her, so she doesn't lose too much HP. Armored Blow. maybe Triangle Adept so she can take the role of Hector killer and tank other green threats, like Julia, Distant def if you have it.

If you still want to go offensive Darting Blow is fine, but Death Blow would be better.

Fury works well with her thanks to Falchion healing her back ever few turns. Now the problem with trying to do Fury/Desperation is that Falchion's healing can take you out of the activation range of Desperation. Same deal with Vantage.

So Fury and something else could work just fine. Swordbreaker is a good option so she can duel Ryomas and Ikes that are now pretty prevalent on the Arena, but I would look into other skills that she could use. You could do a Quick Riposte build on her too.

Panic Ploy seems to be waved right now, because its unlikely people will have it so soon since it just released. But given time after the new heroes are obtainable at 4*, it will be very easy to create a team where all 4 heroes use it as their C support. Many teams that would come across that in Arena would be immediately screwed, since there is a heavy dependency on C buffs, thanks to Chad and Blade users being so dominant.

As for player phase, designing an Arena team around 4 panic ploys will be very strong. You only have to compensate for raw stats vs raw stats, at which point Mages like Chad, Celica, Linde, and even Owl tomes begin to shine.

Theres an obvious SBreaker to negate the low speed where it matters: against other swords. I'm, also looking into Guard, since Titty is now 4* and QP is a thing. Screwing specials over can be a huge boon. Otherwise, Fury or LnD with Vantage is a more standard way to salvage her.

Yeah. Atk and Spd wise, she its literally Tharja but gets SS, which is great. No doubt Owl would be at the very least decent if Panic Ploys ran rampant, but that defense does her no favors. In a meta like that, a DC Sword is infinitely more valuable and versatile. Considering 1 is free a GHB unit, no one can say its hard to get one nor hard to run into one.

At least shes a QT. I wish I got her after 140 orbs.
