>>
They said that development is 80% done too. Release late this year!?

Yeah there's a 2017 release date, just no exact month/day. I hope the english version won't take very long.
>>
Legit question, why are you guys suddenly okay with remasters?

It's because it's on PC now?
>>
Chances of the original trilogy getting a remake before then? I've never played a game in the series and I want to get into it because the main character is cute.
>>
>>380454083
With games this old and (mostly) forgotten, I think it's a great way to gauge interest for a sequel or reboot. Also compared to making a new game it's a lot less work.

Anime is just more engaging. Jrpgs often are grindy and slow and have a cringy story on top of that. It's nor worth spending 40 hours on when the average anime lasts 8 hours
>>
>>380454197
Doubt it. They need to remake the battle system from the ground up if they want to port IMOQ. But at that point, they might as well create a new game altogether.
>>

Was thinking of playing this great trilogy again via emulation.
Now just gonna wait for this on PC.

If you are 12 sure. Wuth JRPGs you dont have to suffer the awful animation and dialogues as much and the story gets to the fucking point instead of having 9 episodes/12 be filler

seriously thats why anyone is pretending hack was ever good
>>
>>380455830
Is Xenosaga any good? I played through Xenogears on an emulator and it was everything wrong with jrpgs. It had pretentious imagery. Slow s c r o l l i n g text and all tropes imaginable from amnesia to old grannies expositioning way too much. Xenoblade was good. But saga wasn't.
>>
Were Project X Zone/PXZ2 successful in the west? .hack is fairly significant in those games, so maybe if they were successful it resulted in renewed interest in the featured series. Maybe a good sign for a Xenosaga remake/sequel.
>>
>>380454083
It depends on the game and if they add stuff to improve it.

In this case they are adding all the polish and then some of the last game to all of them and also speeding it up which will improve the overall experience more than a mere graphics update.

That said I would have rather they made the original quadrilogy because it has become pretty outdated as far as gameplay goes and would benefit a significant amount if they used a modified GU system for it
>>
>>380456206
they did far better in the west than japan, at least for the first game.

overall though it just sold decently
>>
>>380456165
1 is okay, 2 is bad, 3 is good

But since you didn't like Xenogears I would skip it since it also goes full ham on Christianity.
>>
>>380454083
I personally only played the original 4 .hack games, never got to play GU for whatever reason, so this is a great way to get to play them without dealing with emulation or paying god knows how much for obscure PS2 games. (The original .hack games are worth a ton, still.)
>>
>>380456697
I don't mind going ham. If it isn't pretentious.
>>
>>380454083
.hack has been dead for years plus my PC too shit to emulate GU without frame drops so I've wanted a PSN release or remaster for awhile.

Besides, they're making this 1080p 60fps and adding a ton of QoL changes to make the game a lot less tedious. It's an okay remaster.
>>
>>380454083
People have been wanting .hack collections because trying to get the PS2 copies will cost you an arm and a leg.

You know it occurs to me that they may be doing GU first so they can:

It did have some cool stuff, and I do like the Xth forms for Kite and Endrance, but honestly the story was really bad. I'm not going to pretend like G.U or even IMOQ was some kind of pinnacle in storytelling, but Link really did just have too much going on.
At least it isn't the Link manga. I swear they had absolutely not idea what they were doing in that one.
>>
>>380468270
Yeah, I bought the first two volumes of Link on a whim because I knew we were never getting the PSP game and I wanted to see if it was as bad as people were saying, or if it was just non-.hack// fans laughing at the absurdity of an MMO being taken seriously as a setting (this was before SAO).

I like to imagine everything I read was non-canon and this remaster negates it's existence in some way.

>>380454083
Compared to something like Strange Journey, which should've just been a rerelease, this is a way to make a literally who game and franchise relevant again.
>>
>>380472523
Fun fact. Ovan was originally going to be the main character, but the producers decided it was too edgy and had them rewrite the story.
>>
>>380472464
Don't know about Xenosaga, but .hack is probably one of the most engaging experiences to get into if you take the time to go through the actual major media for it. Watching Sign and going into IMOQ after that gives alot of closure on events, and similarly you can relate to Haseo's struggles in G.U because of the shit that happens to him in Roots. Of course, that's not even counting all the characters that move around the different series, becoming more interesting each time.

The gameplay is not much to write home about. IMOQ can drag pretty heavily in that department, and while G.U is competent, it's not outstanding or anything. Despite that, I'd still say it's worth it because of the vast world and characters that the whole multimedia aspect of it provides.
>>
>>380472464
The original is very expensive and uh... i guess you could say it hasn't aged well. Watch some YouTube gameplay and see if it's worth it. Final Fantasy XII is also getting a remaster next month, i would keep that in consideration as well.

I can't decide on whether Ovan would be more or less edgy than Haseo was in the beginning. Haseo did brood alot until he got over it, but Ovan did sort of kill millions of people around the world.
>>
>>380473038
According to a writer in a old as fuck interview on an obscure Jap blog.

The originally story had you as Ovan, trying resurrect your Sister and you goal was to essentially track down and hunt the other waves.

Basically the same motivations as GU, cept you would be the one that was doing it. Producers didn't like the idea of kids being the "villain" and had them make Ovan the antagonist and inserted Haseo as a more relatable character for teens. It's also part of the reason vol 3 became a clusterfuck of loose ends and plotholes.

Come on do an IMOQ remake, I need Aura in HD, she has almost no fanart!
But I guess it will be hard to keep having that dreamy, mystical, low-poly atmosphere
>>
>>380454083

It depends, for something like .hack it could always mean they are testing the waters to see if there is still any interest for it.
One can always hope that if it does well they might consider reviving the franchise.

But you are not wrong. The games coming to PC are also part of it for both, those that didn't have a PS2 at the time and those that don't have a PS2 or a PS4 now.

>>380454663

I actually love the first ones better too and would love to see them on PC.

>>380454778

Yes, more so if you liked the original .hack//SIGN.
.Hack// has always been a multimedia proyect so the games actually give closure on the original anime (and the previous light novel).

So from the narrative point it is very fulfilling to play these games if you liked the anime.
From the gameplay pov, i won't lie to you, the games felt dated even back on the PS2 era but i really liked them anyways (except for the episodic format... i think it was the first game i ever played that was like that).

I'm sure its 3 different games and you choose which to play like the MGS or ZOE hd collections.
Originally you didn't need to play the previous game if you wanted to play a different one, you just have the option to port saves.
It would be weird to consolidate the games together cause each has their own end game content.

Well they've already mentioned scaling down certain enemies, so it's possible that it's the end game content being retooled to just be normal side quests.

what's up with the culture of this game that everyone is such a hardcore roleplayer
>>
>>380506996
First of all, .hack is series based heavily on characters and their backgrounds. It's not action series. This means the manga/anime (and even the games) will mostly deal with psychological issues with the players behind their characters.

If you just want to play the games, playing IMOQ and G.U is fine (else are crap especially LINK, VERSUS might be fine?).

If you want to also watch the anime, both SIGN and Roots are prequels to their respective game series IMOQ and G.U. Returner is short compliment to ending of the G.U. Other anime is irrelevant as far these games go. But .hack//Quantum is quite fine as standalone show.

IMO, if you just are curious and want to get the most painless first experience, just try G.U first.
>>
>>380508453
The .hackers became notorious for having solved the crisis back in IMOQ. Also, Kuhn was a direct victim of it, and was directly saved by Kite. Not only that, but he was also an incredibly hardcore player who was catching up to Balmung and Orca before he got coma'd.

You level from 1 to max level across IMOQ and G.U. not only in a short amount of time but defeat every top player/boss with little effort. I think it's safe to say the games would be boring if you were controlling a guy who's permanently mediocre at videogames. How would Kite have saved the world if he couldn't dodge data drains and kill infinite HP data bugs like a pro?
>>
I didn't know /v/ liked .hack so much. I still have all 7 of these games, the Sign, Dusk, and Liminality animes, the sign soundtracks and the game soundtracks, the Subaru and Blackrose figures, those silly pins that came with the OG boxset of sign, the extra final last episode of Sign, some of the old strategy guides, the Dusk manga (way better than the anime, no joke), and some other stuff I may have forgotten

The first generation of .hack was so damn good, the 2nd started out good but the quality became meh as it went on, and that's kind of when I fell off the bandwagon, Link looked like fanfiction tier shit so I pretty much lost interest there

As someone who doesn't enjoy emulating games much a remaster is often the only way for me to play older games. I haven't hooked up my PS2 in a long time so having access to KH1.5+2.5 or this .Hack collection without having to dig it out of storage is nice.

Also, some games I just never played when they came out (Jet Set Radio) so having access to them without needing an old console is convenient.

Shit, man, don't ruin my immersion.

I remember back in the day wasting hours in the Lost Grounds like Sif Berg, Indieglut Lugh, or Morrigu Barrow Wall searching for hidden places, or simply staring at the level believing that there was something else in there. For example in Arche Koeln, I thought that it was a way to go behind the waterfall.

Also, I loved the story about those areas, that you could read in the boards.

Most of the cast is new, only some have links to older characters

Haseo is Sora, but the Sora in IMOQ wasn't the real Sora, it was essentially Skeith, taking Sora's form, which took place in a novel between Sign and Infection

Kuhn is Mai's boyfriend from Liminality, who played in-game a character called Sieg, who was only in a single scene in Infection, and was in a coma for the rest of the time

Endrance is Elk, straight up

Yata is Wiseman

Piros and Natsume are obviously Piros and Natsume

Interview from the magazine

Secrets about .hack// in the past that can finally be talked about now

Famitsu: First of all, we’d like to start hearing from the details of this game getting produced.

Uchiyama: The year 2017 is the 15th anniversary of the release of .hack[//Infection], and 10 years have passed since G.U. was completed. Furthermore, G.U. also took place in 2017. In this year that we must commemorate, we’d like to reboot the .hack series which had been resting away from home console for a while.

Famitsu: Why did you choose to do an HD remaster instead of a new title for the series?

Matsuyama: A long time has passed, so first as an entry course, we’re going to let the current young generation know about the .hack series.

Uchiyama: By letting our customers (read: players) at that time [of the original PS2 releases] to remember once more with this game, and by also letting the current customers know about .hack, we want to plan for the next expansion. That’s why we’re thinking to heighten the presence of .hack series once more with this game.

Famitsu: Speaking about .hack series, the way of doing a media-mix expansion with an original title was a rare thing back then.

Uchiyama: At the time of the first .hack//[Infection], at first we didn’t think that far. We included various media, but it was all a hindsight-based opinion (laughs). We became aware of it in the midway.

Matsuyama: Because it was an original RPG made by a production company not known by anyone, it wouldn’t be considered by Bandai at that time unless we could show a color that’s different from other past projects. So to involve people who already have their own fans, we persuaded Mr. Kazunori Ito and Mr. Yoshiyuki Sadamoto.

the fact that they made like 7 games within that period of time still boggles the mind, I think a big part of why it got such a bad rap was because people were just annoyed that it kept popping up when they already weren't interested in it.
>>
>Uchiyama: It took about half a year each [to persuade them one by one].

>Matsuyama: And then, the PlayStation 2 was released, DVD became able to be played in game consoles, so we’d like to make an episodic composition like an OVA with the pair of game and anime. And then things like TV anime, comicalization, and novels were being talked upon as the project was moving on. By doing that, while we were creating .hack//, the shape itself would change. In a good meaning, we started without fitting into a mold and we could do anything we want. I think that was a big point.

>Famitsu: How did the theme and concept of .hack// get decided?

>Uchiyama: We began polishing up the plan to decide the theme in around 2000. At that time, people were discussing the immersivity of online games and the burst of the IT bubble [in Japan], and there was an atmosphere where ‘both online games and the internet are dangerous.' However, kids around the age of middle schoolers would want to experience it even for a bit.
When proposing new things, I thought these would become good themes. It went well by chance, but I never thought it would become a theme that could still live even after 15 years.

>Matsuyama: Regarding the concept, we first decided it to be a “double composition of real world and game world taking place in a fictional online game."

>Uchiyama: When we had a meeting for the scenario, I remember Mr. Ito said, ‘What would happen to an in-game world after a reset button was pressed in an RPG?' We then decided on the game’s skeletal structure from there.

Calm down there, Endrance
>>
>>380517150
Didn't help that IMOQ had enough content for like 2 games or something. So much of Mutation and Outbreak just felt like complete and utter nothing happen. For G.U it had Vol.3 which was pretty damn forced in terms of the actual main plot, even if the side missions and everything was still great.
The .hack franchise really was way too ambitious in many ways, and took alot of things for granted. Not everyone is willing to buy the exact same game 4 times.
>>
>Matsuyama: The concept of all 4 volumes of .hack// was valued not only in Japan but also overseas.

>Uchiyama: I never thought it would sell so well in America. Bandai at that time excelled in selling game adaptations of popular anime and manga to the world, but spreading works created by ourselves to the world was not necessarily our specialty.

>Matsuyama: That’s why everyone cooperated to go around places and make appeals. For example in Europe, we went around 5 countries within 5 days.

>Uchiyama: Nowadays producers from our company would travel around 7-8 countries in Europe to do PR for their works. But I think .hack was the project that opened up the way of selling [games] overseas.

.hack//G.U. Last Recode is not just a simple HD remaster

>Famitsu: What’s the reason for you remastering G.U. this time, out of the many series titles?

>Matsuyama: .hack// had a protagonist that was caught up [in a plot], and I think it was to be played with a sense that “Kite = Yourself” (as in Kite is really the player’s own character). >That’s why the frontage was also wide.

>But in the next series G.U., we wanted to make it a title where fans would get deeply attached to the protagonist and other characters, so we made it with high heat like a shonen manga. It didn’t sell as much as .hack//, but the fans’ enthusiasm towards the characters and storyline is the highest in the series. That’s why if we are to do a reboot from among the series, G.U. ought to be the most suitable.

>Furthermore, there are also some parts in G.U. that we wanted to do but still haven’t yet. Since we also wanted to put those into shape, we decided on it.

+
>>
>>380517393
No, Haseo is the perfect husband.
>>
>>380516079
>that pic
DELET
>>
>Famitsu: When you were making G.U., what would be the parts you changed from .hack// that you were aware of?

>Matsuyama: Unlike .hack// where “the protagonist = yourself”, we made Haseo’s story to be enjoyable from a bird’s eye view. Even with the same RPG genre, the way of creating [each of them] is different.

>Uchiyama: It’s like the methodology of the production is different. At the time of .hack// we would fill in the interludes, but G.U. would have the nature of movie production. I think the heat of CyberConnect2’s movie presentation can be enjoyed better here [in G.U.].

>Famitsu: For the contents, will you be able to play all 3 G.U. volumes in HD here?

>Matsuyama: Normally it would be so. But neither CyberConnect2 or .hack are normal. It may look like a simple HD remaster, but we’ve re-created most of them. We’ve re-tuned it so that the tempo would be better, and we removed all parts that people think would be troublesome and common in old games. The balance and responsiveness will be totally different.

>Famitsu: So the base will be the systems of Vol.3 [Redemption] which was the most comfortable. Are you making it so that players can progress without having stress?

+
>>
>>380516069
I can't really think of many characters in games that grew and changed as much as Haseo did if you chronicle his entire journey from his time as Sora to the end of G.U
>>
>>380517583
>Furthermore, there are also some parts in G.U. that we wanted to do but still haven’t yet. Since we also wanted to put those into shape, we decided on it.
Oh god we're actually getting the unfinished content made aren't we?
>>
>Matsuyama: Yeah. That’s why the overall play time will also become 1-2 hours shorter in each volume.

>Famitsu: I see. So it’s not just a simple HD remaster, but the play feel will also completely change.

>Matsuyama: Actually, that’s not the only thing. The entire 3 volumes of G.U. lead to one conclusion. But on whether a true salvation would be indeed there or not, there are also parts that may not seem so.

>It ended with a feel like, “Someday, I will see a dream of such a day”, but this game will have the answer to the question of “When will that someday be?”. I think everyone will get to meet the “how do you do” Haseo that they didn’t know of before.

>Famitsu: Are there going to be any more new features?

>Uchiyama: You should look forward to that in the future. Mr. Matsuyama has ended up spoiling much of it though (laughs).

>Famitsu: By the way, to match with the commemoration of the 15th anniversary, are there any projects in motion other than this game?

>Matsuyama: They’re in motion at our company’s side (CyberConnect2). We are making a number of projects. After that, it’s up to this boss (referring to Uchiyama) on whether he would stamp the seal or not.

>Uchiyama: But I’m in the position to say ‘you shall not pass through here that easily!’, you know (laughs).

There are scenes and ideas between the two that .hack// does objectively better.
For example:
Wishing to escape the obligations from your guild

Sign: Subaru is exhausted by the constant needs of her guild, and the budding mutiny of one of its top members, she wants to escape the responsibility, but she cannot escape her nature of being a great leader, she wants to protect Tsukasa from her guild, which is being taken over, and after an argument about their role in game and the meaning of justice, Subaru disbands the guild in an effort to escape her responsibility to it and to protect the one she loves, and pays for this later after a vitriolic player-killer harasses and attacks her, a direct result of the loss of her status

SAO: Asuna hides behind Kirito from the mean ol' bodyguard-person because she needs a knight-in-shining armor to protect her from her responsibilities lol
>>
>Matsuyama: Anyway, this year, I’m thinking of various events to liven up the 15th anniversary, with this game at the core. For the next expansion of the project itself, please give us a bit more time. First of all, I shall have this boss stamp the seal (laughs).

>Famitsu: Finally, would the two of you please leave a message to Famitsu readers.

>Uchiyama: As it’s the 15th anniversary of .hack//, and also as 10 years have passed since G.U. was completed, I’m purely glad it has been played for this long. I think the heat of that time - when I kept running in a daze while having comical dialogues with Matsuyama- have arrived in the present day. First of all, please enjoy the 15th anniversary of this game, and I hope it will give power to the projects after that. >Please kindly enjoy it.

>Matsuyama: This game is like a title with some sort of tenacity for us, so we’re not slacking for even a bit. We’re making it as a game for the newest PlayStation, with contents that will satisfy both people of “how do you do” and “it’s been a long time." Is it really an OP class, though, or does it just seem that way because Haseo had to be made strong enough for solo play? We don't really have a normal Adept Rogue to compare to in any meaningful way. Would still make an Adept Rogue myself if we got to play R:2. Blade Brandier/Edge Punisher/Lord Partizan best combo.

Adept rogues in game are garbage who need to get all their class extensions to be even sort of relevant. They get versatility but will never be great at anything.
Main character adept rogues are major bad asses though and don't go by the in game rules.

I was thinking it may have been Haseo, but R:2 had classes that were weaker and stronger to others right? Theoretically, if you grinded enough and went through the trouble of getting good gear you could solo as an A. Rouge and still be a beast.

I mean I know it's Haseo, but you could eventually solo the arena even without your BS avatar powers (thank you REEEEENGEKI)

As the name of the class says. The class is good at adapting at situations. Like one of the early concept designs for Atoli had her as a thicc Wavemaster with no pants, just lewd panties and her thicc as fuck thighs/legs being shown off. It's pretty hot and I thick they should have used that design for someone else in the game, doesn't have to be Atoli.

After getting datadrained by Skeith his body goes into a coma and his mind is imprisoned in the Phase's staff for a little while while until Skeith starts using his PC as a sort of meat puppet. This fucks with his head a bunch and he's not really saved until the end of the fourth game, despite the holder of his prison being defeated in the first. After Kite kills Corbenik, Sora wakes up, but because of the shit he went through and all the mindfucking done by an unstable AI obsessed with death he forgets (almost) everything. Dunno, I don't personally want .hack to collab with any post-wow MMOs, nor take any cues from them. There used to be potential in that genre, but it is dead nowadays. .hack is quite heavily based on the old-school MMOs with little bit of inspiration from roguelikes.
>>
I hope they add a parody mode.

The original .hack games had a parody mode, but they replaced it with the English dub when they brought it outside Japan because the disks couldn't fit all that audio. G.U. didn't originally have a parody mode because, again, space limitations meant that it could only hold one audio set, hence why there was no Japanese dub that time.

But THIS time? It should be completely doable to fit in half a dozen audio tracks.

Kinda. In the original .hack games, the Parody Mode was something you unlocked after beating that specific volume. It replaces all the dialogue with stupid shit. Orca's a pervert with a stupid name, Kite's just plain absurd, BlackRose seems to believe that she lives in a daytime drama, etc.

Well it's not like it'd change the game itself.
FFXIV would probably get a quest with a Haseo look-alike NPC (or Haseo himself, with the quest plot being about how he ended up in XIV instead of R:2 because of AIDA and you have to fight an AIDA boss) that rewards GU equipment and maybe Haseo's hair for player characters.
Last Recode would probably just get some free DLC weapons that look like FF weapons.
Square-Enix has been all over this stuff lately; FF has had collabs with Dragon Quest, Yokai Watch, GARO, Monster Hunter, etc.

What is shown in the anime is stuff that looks no more advanced than the oculus, buuuuut you have to take that with a grain of salt along with the whole salt shaker since the stuff shown in the anime and games are not exactly indicative of real technology.

Blame Aura. Pretty much every Kite clone in the series is her fault. Except Sakuya, she did that on her own. and Deviant Art Kite, which was a figment of Tokio's imagination.

Why?

that fucking guy actually did something?
I remember years and years of empty promises on the dothackers.net forums but at least something came out of all of that.
>>

Where I can download the Fragment that works online btw?
>>
>>380536060
I liked Azure a lot but all the other ones missed the mark for me. Character design is an important part of any character and making them all look the same hurts their identities as their own unique person.
>>
>>380536361
i want to say because no one would play them

but then again when atlus ported persona 1 and 2 to psp they barely did jack shit to their terrible gameplay and just made them available on a more recent platform

>We thank our patrons for the support they have given us, but due to friction in the community caused by trolls, cheaters and other vile beings and a set of unfixable game exploits they were using in the process, we are forced to shut down .hack//frägment indefinitely.
Huh.
>>
>>380454083
I personally never had anything against them mainly because of that, most of them usually come out on PC and that's pretty nice. It's not like the originals weren't/aren't/won't be there thanks to PCSX2 anyways though.
>>
>>380536361
Because Namco would never even greenlight that shit in the first place. PSO style gameplay does not sell to their target demographic. Fucking GU needed to be sped up for it to make it through.
>>
>>380536484
I agree on that for everyone except Link Kite. Making his one biggest gimmick (Data Drain) integrated into a ranged attack, and having him look more like a veteran fit really well.

>>380535689
>Kite: Original
>Shugo: Aura gave him that avatar.
>Kite of the Azure Flame: A half-assed defense program Aura made in Kite's image.
>//Link Kite: A record of Kite born from the Akashic Records.
>Sakuya: Came up with that avatar on her own, probably because she saw it was a popular design.
>Sora: Aura gave her that avatar.
>Phantom Kite: ???

Wild.

I didn't know this, what a shame

Fuck their target demo, I wanna play a simulation of how bad MMOs used to be.

Fuck Twilight.
Fuck everything about that shit entirely.

Giraffe Kite is from Guilty Dragon I think, looks like that artstyle.

>Manga was good.
Nigga I bought that shit as a kid. First manga I ever bought, even.

It was dogshit. Better than the anime, but only marginally.
>>
>>380536849
Fragment translation was actually done a very long time ago. I still have the iso burned to a disc stuffed in the case with my actual copy of the game.
The character creator was silly because you were stuck with a (wo)manlet no matter what you did. They even took tall characters from the main game and used them as a template you could recolor, and scaled them down to fit that one size.

>>380537167
You'd better be talking about the anime. AI Buster I and II plus the manga all went together and it was all great.
>>
>>380537490
It was basically the same shit except the anime had more incest. I'm still it got made though since I mastrubated a million times to Mireille, and it's what got me into .hack as a kid.
>>
>>380537202
>those tender eyes she's directing at tryhard kite
unnnf

>>380537490
literally the only thing i can remember about the manga is ouka being basically naked. i don't know if that's a failure on the part of my brain or indicative of the quality of the manga though
>>
>>380537807
It's indicative of the quality.
The first two volumes feel like they're going somewhere but crawl at a snail's pace, but then the final volume is a big wet fart where things get implied and then an ending just kind of happens.

I have the manga, and that statement says a lot.

He's not wrong. They actually made their siblingfuck even worse, and the writing is shittier at the same time. The pacing is also balls.
>>
>>380537750
No, they literally are not the same at all. After a certain point, the plots are completely and utterly different, as is their purpose, themes, and everything else. They share nothing but the same art style, characters, and setting. The manga's plot was completely different, and contained connections to all of the media, not just sign. Kite, Orca, and BlackRose had cameos in it, even fucking Lycoris (RIP) had a small cameo. It was a real sendoff to the original series, not what the fuck happened with the anime adaptation, because the plot is completely different.
>>
>>380538548
Yeah, G.U. was designed so that newcomers could jump in without any knowledge.
>>
>>380538741
I can never entirely hate Link because they actually put fucking Albireo of all characters into the game. Shota Cubia from XXXX was another way out there choice.
>>
>>380538741
It was still shit, though.
Like god damn.
>>
>>380539020
I can never hate it fully either because of that, its unfortunate that so little information exists about the game, I'd have loved to know what his dialogue was, or if Lyco or Haruka made it into the game, and how they interacted with the other characters.

AI Buster is the reason I own Der Ring des Nibelungen (Levine, Metro Opera) on DVD, and I still do blue/gold eyes on my created characters to this day.
