Why won't it go away?
they need to milk it some more

I haven't played it yet, I guess
Skyrim is a historic game, like it or not it is the game that has and will continue to define this decade, something the previous TES games couldn't do

It's shit.
>>380454512
I don't care what you think about it faggot, it's an objective fact that it's more popular than whatever gimmicky trash early 2000's PC exclusive pretentious shitfest you jerk off to and people treat it as such

>objective fact
kys
And yeah, it is utter shit, and why is it popular?
Because of marketing, no brainer "gamers" , arificial hype and milking.
Cause money, the unfortunately immesly common answer to most questions you'll see on /v/
>cause money

Missing the point retard
Regardless of your own opinion on the game for some reason it became an big industry benchmark. If you had told me years ago that Skyrim would influence the direction of fucking Zelda I'd laugh at you, well I'm not fucking laughing now.
It's so awesome game and still I couldn't love it. I loved Oblivion despite its retarded lvling system, why couldn't I love fixed Oblivion with better visuals?

Objective Fact: Free from personal bias
Also "It is utter shit". Your own opinion, which has no actual basis on worldwide consensus regarding the game and from what I assume is your trash taste in games, completely useless.
>Because of marketing, no brainer "gamers" , arificial hype and milking.
"arificial", lol. It's popular because it's chock full of content, hype built up around that time period regarding fantasy games and from previous TES games, as well as a significiant all 11/11/11 release date. There's plenty of games that generate hype and fail, Skyrim didn't because it's an objectively good game.

I don't like skyrim because it's a lazy cash-grab. Oblivion had amazing hand-crafted guilds and quests. The issues with level scaling and bugs could be fixed through mods. But Skyrim - no amount of modding can fix this game. Anyone with a basic understanding of programming can understand that radiant quests are generated by simple functions which require no effort to program.
