I've never really played any Metroid games before but even I felt genuine happiness to see that announced, mostly because I know the fanbase hasn't had a proper new game for a long while. Are metroidfags really unhappy or are you all just worried it might not turn out good? Not even a little happy and relieved that Metroid is making a comeback?

I know there is scepticism around the fact that Retro aren't handling Prime 4.
As for the 2D one, it does look casualised but I will be getting both after skipping Federation Force.
