I read them all. Half of anons wanted side-scrolling Metroid game and hated the FPS Prime ones, the other half wanted more 3D FPS Metroid like Prime.
What did you get? TWO GAMES TO SATISFY BOTH! I told you those threads were made by devs collecting information but you didn't believe me. ALL of your suggestions and ideas to make 3D Metroid better will be put into Prime 4. ENJOY!

If the designers were half competent they would make Prime have 2.5D sections where the camera changers perspective and you could have classic metroid gameplay and then seamlessly transition back to first person.

They are doing two games because that's what worked in the past when prime came out. It satisfies everyone in the best way possible
