As a game, it's so good. I even enjoyed the characters and such. I just don't like how they threw out the idea of no such thing as a true ending with a series all about ideology, when it's so clear that bonds is the 'true' end.

They ruined all of that by more or less making neutral objectively correct with the new canon in apocalypse on the great will, taking away the more permanence to law or chaos, and not having the temporary delay of an endless struggle.

Look, I like the SMT series, but you gotta admit. Atlus makes these things on a huge budget, there's bound to be flaws. There was a lot of the same dungeons from 4, and then there's YHVH's universe. And the story strayed away from core SMT thematics.
