In the entire time ive owned a 4 ive never paid, out of principle. The issue is thst singleplayer and lical multiplayer is being killed because skin downloads and loot makes so much money.

the only sort of throttling i've ever noticed wasn't actually throttling at all, but just the effects of the launch model PS4's garbage wi-fi card. it doesn't support a bunch of different bands so that's why it cuts out every 15 minutes.

Though if you use ethernet it'll be just fine and dandy, at least, again, in most cases. I never hadi ssues downloading shit on my PS3 or vita though.
