Where is it /v/?

Gran Turismo lost its charm after 4.

The Japs are simply lazy as hell. Take Asetto Corsa for instance, I bet that thei development team had less people and less resources and still they pulled off a better game than polyphony ever done.
>we don't want to collect cars
>>380418068
It's coming out later this year, it'll have some PSVR support. We'll see how it turns out, I just don't want an online centric Gran Turismo hope Polyphony delivers the goods as always.
anyone else here still prefers gt1 to any other?
>>380420435
The intro to GT1 is awesome forever a part of my childhood, but GT5 and 6 were really memorable for me. GT5 was massive and GT6 had a special Moon Rover simulation they developed with NASA. Sound tracks are always good too.
>>380420435
I rather play GT2. More tracks, more cars more fun.

Here.
>>380420139
they already detailed the single player mode.
its driving missions.
No career mode.
>>380421107
Yup
>>380421137
As long as it has an offline mode I'm down, it's not GT7... GTS looks sikfuk.
I hope GTS can live up to the wait. Forza 7 is looking really fuckin good.
Can't wait to drive 20 different types of skylines

I would love new Skylines but they were discontinued a while ago. I know it's supposed to be funny but really Gran Turismo is on a whole different level from other games. Shit pic related was design specifically for GT6 Vision series.

*designed

>I know it's supposed to be funny but really Gran Turismo is on a whole different level from other games
Nah, it just looks prettier. The simulation and physics have always beensub par.
>>380423245
>always
compared to fucking what
>>380418068
The original Gran Turismo was amazing, and transformed racing games, and had great presentation (dat midi music on the car dealers).
>>380422437
Vision Gran Turismo has some cool shit.
>>380423906
its not midi.
>>380424038
Sorry. I just meant that music in the dealer menus being different for each dealer.
Now it's just Jazzy background music. :-(
>>380423245
Incorrect, GT6 for example has adaptive tesselation on consoles back in 2013, a feature no other driving simulator on 7th gen systems ever had. GT looks better precisely because the physics and other technical aspects are so well executed.

The music in newer GT games varies quite a lot it's OK overall, but there's alot of shit mixed in to cater to a lot of different tastes. Personally I appreciate the orinial track by the electronic artists. Yeah it can be a bit loungy but I think of it more as the kind of music you'd expect from cars that costs over a million credits. WipEout will always have the better soundtrack, mostly because it mirrors that amazing GT1 soundtrack.
