Besides obvious stuff like hoping for a digital release of Metal Wolf Chaos, I really want to play more Unreal Championship 2 and both Kingdom Under Fire games. All the SNK stuff from back then was good, too, most of it far better than the crumby PC ports they put out lately. Best port of Metal Slug 3 was Xbox, no lag at all. Though it didn't let you continue during a stage at all, so good luck beating the last level, which happens to be as long as the rest of the game.

Because it might not be a matter of a unified emulator, they might have to tweak it heavily for each game. Which means at least some degree of testing, and that takes time. Also I think since any games they offer for BC will then be sold digitally, they'll have to talk to the publishers about it (just like 360 bc). Sure, most are happy to have their old games out for sale again, but others will say "I have a remaster of that coming out, so don't include it". It sucks, but that's life.

If you ever want to play it and the remaster/hdversion whatever never happens don't play it on 360 backwards compatability but on the og hardware. Some levels on 360 have quite severy slowdowns that mess with your timing of the stunts and is generally unintuitive or frustrating.

Xboxes are dirt cheap nowadays anyway.
I got one with two controllers and a whole slew of games for 20 euros and you can probably do way better than that.

As someone who never played it up until last year, It's ok.

The combat can seem a little mashy sometimes, but bullet-time makes the game far easier to manage and feel so much better. The game absolutely shits itself at Act 3. I dropped it with all the enemies they shove in your face.

I wouldn't say it's a must-play, but it does some things well and has memorable boss fights.

Apparently, S.L.A.I. plays much later in the future after Phantom Crash. Rumbling as a sport grew so much that they had to pussify it for the "wider audience". The plot of the game is some bullshit murder mystery of pilots, no more self-identity search drama, genki shopkeeps having fun or middle school girls crushing on adult guys they admire. Oh, and it has severe slowdowns because it's a PS2 port of an Xbox game.

Gameplay is the same though, so it's still a good game.

It's supposed to crash, it was to get around memory leaks. It should auto start up again in a few seconds. Maybe you might have to maximize it though manually if it's being weird.

It will auto crash on every loading screen in the game but should auto restart at the next area a few seconds later anyways.
