Story wise, Chapter 13 is probably one of the best parts of the game. It really makes you appreciate the Good Boys as a whole group. It feels empty without them.

Chapter 13 Verse 2 is accessible any time from the main menu, you don't play through it in the story mode. I would honestly recommend playing through it after you beat the game b/c going back to the main menu for that breaks cohesion (desu play it right before you play Episode Gladio.)

Everyone knew that, hell the composer even said that. Plus it's obvious because Empire in Ruins = The Aggressors aka Niflheime theme, and Song of the Stars = Song associated with Luna. So his battle theme is mixing the two sides of him as Niflheim's high commander, and his side that cares for his sister.

Well consider this. When it launched you play only as Noctis and there is no off road driving, plus you can't explore world of ruin.

In about a year there will be 9 playable characters, off road driving and you will be able to explore world of ruin. Plus whatever new story cutscenes they add.

Previously it took long because ring was too slow to kill stuff and you couldn't sprint, plus doors took 3 beeps before they opened

XV looks a million time better than XIII, this isn't up to debate.

I honestly didn't give a fuck about any of these characters. The only one who was semi-interesting was Ravus and that's only after you actually get clear info about what he was doing and the rest is purely conjecture as is with most of the characters. Luna could have been a little less completely boring if they bothered to have her exist outside of Noctis and give her actual motivations aside from wanting to marry him and complete her "destiny". In the end, she was a cliche support waifu plot device and not even a good one, her death scene didn't make me feel anything and Noctis crying during her generic speech was the funniest shit ever.

Good post, but it neglects to explain that one could logically denote that the Knights of the Seal would explain to those in training exactly WHY it is a bad idea to break the seal. I mean, the Seals were literally broken less than 2 decades ago. Many of the knights were alive and likely fighting during the time the seals were broken last time (including Gismore, who literally STATES AS MUCH IN GAME). All the people who lived around the seals and were used as martyrs were former Empire soldiers, who were the very people who attempted to break the seals in D1. This is ALSO stated in game.

Literally everyone over the age of 30 should know EXACTLY what happens when you break the seals, and even the villagers should have begged them to stop.

Animations for swords and lances which are the only weapons we saw used in 2011 are still used in the final game today, same as the run animation and jump, while the full game gave those animations more bones to make them look more fluid now. And all the animations are great, and the mechanics are not 100% different, combo is still a combo, jump is still a jump, dodge is still a dodge etc

You need to watch that edge there.
