>During its E3 2017 press showcase tonight, Taleworlds confirmed rumors and announced that the follow-up to the 2010 action role-playing game Mount & Blade: Warband will launch on Thursday, September 28, 2017 for PC. Like the first game, the sequel is being developed by Taleworlds Entertainment out of Turkey. The studio is run by Armagan Yavuz.
>Today's official announcement is not a big surprise, as Mount & Blade 2: Bannerlord has been rumored to be nearing release for at least a year now. Last summer, Taleworld's Frank Elliott said they wanted the game in player's hands in some form by the end of the year, so it was always a matter of when.
>The news was revealed alongside two new gameplay trailers. Beyond some glimpses of in-game battles, however, not much more was revealed.
