This is literally the Nintendo Renaissance

BotW is inferior to OoT, all flash with no substance.

>BotW is inferior to OoT
But that's completely wrong, BotW is the second best Zelda game after Majora's Mask

Both of them in their respective times were all flash with minimal substance.

If the next game is to BoTW what Majoras Mask was to OoT then we are in for something incredible.

Mario 64 is impossible to surpass for me. It was the first ever game that I played that was 3D. I realize that there's a lot of people now who take the concept of 3D for granted, but it was a absolutely mindblowing back then. Going from 2D to 3D for the first time was the greatest thing ever, it was as akin to reaching a new, unscratched universe of possibilities and concepts that we will be entering and embracing forever. It was literally a new dimension. Experiencing 3D for the first time was greater than playing games for the first time, because you've already had time to think things over for the older dimension style. As for the game itself, I think it holds up incredibly as well. The atmosphere is still very weird and original. The levels are still very fun and original. The controls available are arguably still the best of any platformer.

Don't get me wrong, I'm sure this game is fine too. I watched the trailer and it looked okay. I'm still not going to buy a Switch just yet though.

I agree that OoT is better, but BotW is hardly what I'd call flashy. It's a slow-burning explore-at-your-own-pace game.

Eh, mario odyssey looks amazing, but I don't think it will have the pure platforming essence that 64 has. Odyssey is more collectathon, more open world, and slower but more forgiving controls. Won't surpass 64 for me most likely

oh boy, another shitty mario game!
