I've stopped at the episode where they gased the family as they said "Just wait there, we are right back" in the first season.
It hasn't really a reason why I didn't watch further, I found it good so far.

I think the second season is better than the first too, and I thought the first was pretty good.

Read the book. Decided Phillip K. Dick is a hack.
Why he became so popular is beyond me, but whatever.
From what I can tell the series doesn't have much to do with it, besides stealing the core concept and the "evil nazi regime" trope is boring as hell.
I mean in vidya it works as well as zombies or aliens i guess; when you just need to shoot stuff without any story.
