It may be more lame than the other conferences, more lame than their previous conferences, but I feel like there were also some redeeming factors, and how some aspects of their conference were actually an improvement. This is a less-biased opinion coming from someone who does not own a PS4.
>PS4 focus
There was no Vita there, they've finally accepted that their handheld market is irrelevant. There was also no stupid shit like "Sony TV". Only stupid thing is VR, but it seemed like they kept it to a minimum.
>Game focus
Microsoft was the biggest offender of their console reveal for this, but Sony used to do it too. This time, there was no mention of anything non-game related. Might be a sign of the times anyway, everyone is just used to streaming on everything.
>No sales figures
Sony used to waste ten minutes bragging about how much the PS3 and PSP sold for years, graphs and all. They don't do this any more, though I don't think they did it in the past few years either.
Ape Escape fans are just upset, because they think the spin offs were shit, but in reality they just didn't bought them to keep their favorite series alive.
