What made Nintendo not believe in Wario to sell games anymore?

Probably tacking Wario into a shitty minigame collection for the Wii U and it managing to sell less than 101 copies.

Fuck you, OP, I'm at least hoping they remember him to at least remake or remaster Virtual Boy Wario Land since they apparently recently trademarked "Awazon no Hihou". Apparently that's the Jap. subtitle of the same.

To be fair, toilet humor was already kind of there and implied ever since Wario Land 2 in Japanese (?) instruction booklets.

Still, it never actually made it into any of his actual games, at least not until WarioWare: Smooth Moves, Master of Disguise and Super Mario Strikers (not even a Wario game), excluding Brawl.
