"Fun" RPGs?

I need your help, /v/.

I've been dropped from full-time to part-time work for a couple weeks, and have an RPG itch that sorely needs scratching. I'd really like to play something relatively modern, but I'd even play something that's old as fuck but still ""fun"" when modded, like NWN.

I'd rather not jump into PoE until 3.0 drops.

Is D3X any good? I played D3 on release but heard that the game is just fucking stupid now.

I'm desperate enough at this point to play something like Grim Dawn, except not Grim Dawn because I've already played that. Same goes for Pillars of Eternity and Torment.

Any suggestions, /v/? Anything to keep me from binging on Path of Diablo for the second time.
