Nintendo DID hype up Metroid Prime 4, and Metroid 2 remake (although I think it's a bit weak compared to the fan remake). Every other thing they showed was purile, casual garbage.

However, 2 games is still better than the zero that was shown at every other presentation, so hey, I can't argue against that.

Everyone else can make me happy on occasion, but only Nintendo can truly depress and truly excite me like a child.

What blowout? They didn't show anything new. We got a logo and a brief announcement of a new Pokemon.

Monster Hunter World announcement beats anything Nintendo showed because they actually showed the game.
