I guess we'll have to see how this one turns out. If it's actually a good update and accomplishes what he tried to do with Other M without all the terrible bits, which was admittedly most of it, and actually shows some kind of attention to what people criticized about Other M, that would make the second big Nintendo developer to come back swinging after being shit on by fans.

Batman was totally QTEs too with the symbol appearing right above the bad guys' heads telling you when to press the button.

Honestly, I can't see how Sack-a-motor could fuck up a remake like this. The worst parts of Other M were the story and character bits, of which would be hard to inject into this new game.

Meanwhile Samus doing sick parries and fancy melee attacks feel really good. I'm tentative but optimistic.

I've seen official (tm) representatives playing the game. I really can't tell if that's truly indicative of the gameplay, or if they just gussied it up for marketing purposes. Kind of like an Assassin's Creed game where they play all the non-boring segments, and purposely tilt the camera angle so you don't see major bugs or graphical flaws.

I'm taking everything I see with a grain of salt.
