Yoshi's Island is a slow, mindless, unchallenging bore of a game, and it does not deserve anywhere near the praise it has received. I can see why you would love this game if you were a child, casual or redditor, but if you're into more engaging gameplay and you're not TriHex, the game doesn't have a lot to offer other than the admittedly great presentation.
