Proteus. Very artsy.
Journey is soothing in its own way, but the final portion can be draining.
Mindlessly gorey games sometimes do it for me. Just set a custom match with bots on quake and activate some cheats. Or play a DOOM.
long dark set to the easiest difficulty. snowy and v. comfy. sometimes set the ac way up, get a blanket, and just play the game like that.
yeah yeah it was in that steam beta testing for too long, but i don't care about that.

I have it and it's amazing
Also Firewatch free-roam is pretty good too
Touhou. I really like it when I get my ass fucked by the curved lasers that juke me out every time I play.

yeah got the game via torrent, but i liked enough to go and pay gog for the DRM-free version i had used. only played the story, forgot to play free roam. But I'll give it a spin soon if I'm feeling like i need comfy.

competitive overwatch platinum bracket, be sure to instant lock hanzo
Unironically walking Sims are pretty good if they are just wondering around and don't have blatant poetry or storytelling attached
