The anime short did. It was supposed to be a full series, with each episode a stretch goal. They only got funded for ONE episode. Since this was made by a totally different group (4C studios), it has no bearing on Red Ash the game.

3DS and Vita version will never happen. Only half the backer rewards were shipped. Their current strategy is to just never talk about them and hope people forget.
There's a legal case here, but you'd have to spend years of litigation, file this shit in Japan of all places, and the end result would likely be them just admitting it's never going to happen and giving some compensation.
