Real talk though, Kojima is doing Death Stranding as a means to catapult himself into Hollywood. His backup plan is that, even if it doesn't get him to direct a real movie, he will still have become a pseudo movie director by directing all these Hollywood celebrities in his game, the same way one would direct them for a movie.
