Jimenez and Bugaboo aren't xbox hueg, the MC doesn't have much backstory but still more than the average silent JRPG protagonist, Zelenin and Pixie are never set up as romantic interests, the battles aren't very long, Arthur sacrifices himself but he's not the badass party member, and you're just stretching it with Gore. There are sidequests, witty retorts and gr78ind2anin' for days and the bad guy is God, but it's not a feminine man who turns into a big towering God like in the image.

I guess this was made with FF VII in mind, because that fits the most. You protect Aerith, Barret is a big nigga, Cait is mascot, you do gt Sephirot as a guest member for a while, he really has long hair and he does have a final form. But Cloud does have a backstory, Barret is no stranger, Cloud was hired by him, the fauna is more like living houses.
