Him and Monolith Soft are like the only things keeping Nintendo relevant at this point. I hope he gets paid well for that leverage, cause he could easily start his own game studio and carry 70% of Nintendo's legacy away with him. Alternatively he should be promoting new upcoming and promising employees if he enjoys Nintendo seeing as koizumi and aonuma are double teaming nintendo into the dirt.

You can't take away the accomplishments that he's already made. If creating the franchises that single-handedly saved the video game industry from the brink of death (and we're still playing today) isn't considered legendary, I don't know what is.
