I can tell Capcom has being putting in an effort to expand the popularity of Monster Hunter to the west and turn it into a mega hit series across the globe, what with the movie and now this. I think many of us know the design choices behind making it open world-ish and more tactical was made to win the western audience over and draw them into the series since previous games never did it on the huge scale they're trying to accomplish.
I'm honestly hyped, Monster Hunter is actually going to become this big thing now. Let's not console war, I think the good ol' original series is still going to stay home to handhelds meaning it's sticking to 3DS and Switch while sony xbox and PC get this new series.
