It was mentioned in some early dev blog but I havent seen it personally. I personally like the knockbacks now though. Cavalry charge from flanks can now potentially crush infantry blobs instead of being a massacre for cavalry.

It's using the same combat engine, they're only refining it, which is for the best. I honestly just want a M&B but greater in scrope and prettier to look at. No matter how you touch up M&B, it still looks like a 2000s indie game.
