learn all the mechanics. there are decade old guides that still gerally apply, plus theres aris and the tekken 6 and ttt2 guides on yt.

once you learn the basic mechanics, learn movement until its second nature. you want to move forward and right effortlessly. you have a brief thought and the next instant, your body is doing ti for you, leaving your mind free to go to the next thought.

Not only do you have to practuce, you have to understand what all of the movement allows you, movement is an option just like any attack, blocking, or grabbing. You have to understand what are the strengths of every movement, what it does and in what situations to use it.

MY REAL advice for OP is to choose a character he likes and stick with that character. Learn their bread and butter off launcher and counter hits. Learn their lows, learn simple combos that go from low, mid high, etc. Also learn to sidestep, korean back dash, and learn all the different ways you can get up off the ground.

When your thumb is on Left transition it down while holding left. Do a full circle with your dumb on every button and punch. Do not press them separate.

Play akuma. Practice his hadoken and tetsumakasenpukya. You while learn how to do any move in fighting games when you master those two.
