What I hate about Ninja gaiden is the fact that your character feels absolutely weak as fuck. You feel like a common mob that ventured out of their comfort zone. Also you have to combo the ever loving shit out of every enemy you encounter to kill it, causing you to eventually develop a "go to" combo you use repeatedly for everything.

This new god of war is such a wasted opportunity. Moving from greek mythology to norse mythology is a pretty good idea for them at this point. Greek mythology is superior in my opinion, it's just more interesting and a better setting/environment, but kratos has killed almost every god, demi god, and mythical creature in greek mythology at this point so changing setting is a smart move. Viking setting is a fine pick.

But instead of just making a new god of war game starting in a new mythology, they try to make it a 'the last of us' game for no reason at all and it really just doesn't fit, the close up 3rd person view really ruins the whole point of a god of war game, which is ridiculous action as you tear gods in half with hands then steal their weapons. It's bad enough being a last of us type game but then they add in your kid who follows you through the whole game which is just going to be really fucking annoying because he looks like a little shit. Kratos is a "man's man" and his son is a weedy little shit who whines and bitches about everything along the way. What a fucking waste of time and resources.

I just have no idea how you could have played the game as much as you claim to have but find trash mobs to be so much trouble that you have to burn through your whole arsenal. Did you not upgrade your weaponry at all or something all the way till late game? I've never had trouble killing enemies in any of the NG games, shit just gets hard as fuck because you're fragile as fuck and almost always up against 6-7 enemies at any one time. Rocket launcher cunts shooting from off-screen doesn't help matters either but all in all, killing them never took too long.
