Nintendo don't even have to do anything special to win now. Some Mario and Splatoon coverage, a new Xenoblade trailer, and maybe one new game announcement (that rumored Retro Studios project). Sony forfeited.

This is too easy for Nintendo. Like they don't even have to try this year. And they really don't even try to begin with.

I'm remaining pessimistic about Nintendo because I Want to come in with as low of expectations as possible so that they can blow me away.

I'm expecting zero interesting titles. The entire presentation will focus on stuff we already know or could guess about ARMS, Splatoon, and Odyssey. No new information whatsoever. The only new games will be 3rd party indie shit.

It's not even that anymore. Past E3s have been littered with the inane that people get mocked over. Segments that are totally stupid or are a misguided attempt to go viral.

That's probably why Mario + Rabbids got leaked and rumored a long ass time ago. Get people used to the idea that it might be a thing, then once the novelty wears off you can actually start making a good faith push with the project.

I guarantee if we only learned about MarioRabbids today, people wouldn't be so positive about it.
