They added something called styles and hunter arts, both stuff you unlock via quests and then select before heading out on a hunt.
Styles change your moveset. They arent an inherently bad idea but most of them are pretty badly balanced. Some are cool though.
Hunter arts are retarded special abilities that you have to charge up to use. They do a lot of stuff that shouldnt exist at all like super far reaching dodges with multiple seconds of i frames that also sharpens your weapon so now sharpness skills are useless. They also look like shounen anime bullshit.

This is what we saw. We didn't see anything that could be defined as "core MH gameplay". We didn't see how dodging works, we didn't see how stamina/healing works, and we didn't see how capturing works.

We saw about 10% of what a MH game consists of, so making huge judgements about the gameplay of a game that's not coming out for at least another 6 months when we've seen only a fraction of what's in the actual game is retarded.
