Is David Cage and his kino the savoir of the point and click/story choice adventure game genre?

Tell Tales = Shit
Life is Strange = Even worse shit
Until Dawn = Stupid zombie shit

David Cage Kino = Interesting unique stories with unpredictable narratives and choices that matter and impact the plot with multiple endings (18 in Heavy Rain) and uses new game engines for each game that push the hardware to the absolute limit all without the episodic bullshit.
