Playstation 4 is starting to pick up the pace on exclusives and has a really big established community.
Nintendo Switch is portable and is also gonna get loads of exclusives.
PC has exclusives and is OBJECTIVELY the strongest platform.

it's a mid cycle upgrade for people with 4k TV's. Having an exclusive for it would be pointless because they could also release the same game running on the bone at a lower res. No reason for them to cut off windows support either since they're also trying to push W10.

Microsoft is selling this shit to enthusiasts first. The hardcore who will buy EVERYTHING.

The regular xbone is for the plebs who only get 1 gift on Christmas or birthday or whatever.

Eventually prices will go done and the xbone will be phased out in favor of the xbonex and a new high end machine will come out for the enthusiasts.

Repeat for forever. They aren't doing new gens they are doing what Apple does with the iPhone.

All games will be playable on both but games will run better on the enthusiast machine. Now plebs can keep playing with the rich boys. It's brilliant.

it allows you to play semi-comfortably all the W10-Xbox shared games without having a gaming PC. I tried Forza Horizon 3 on my PC, i dont think its possible to build a complete PC capable of running it in comfortable settings with stable 30+ fps for 500$.
