Tbh i see /v/ deeply loving towards Nintendo while a lot of places except Mario and zelda don't give shit, /v/ doesn't get happy with Nintendo is like fatherly love, your father hates your creations and doesn't get that happy with your achievements is just he sees you as a super good kid and always expects top tier thing but deep down all your achievements are very dear to him and he holds them close to his heart
