I liked it for the visuals, soundtrack and the adventure as a whole.

As an JRPG it was flawed and unbalanced in several aspects.
Like for example, I beat game only using Oliver and Catastroceros as the only pet (I barely touched the other party members). The combat was almost as boring as Dragon Quest VIII's.
