Don't pay too much attention to these guys. The game is 20 hours long. The beat em up aspect is pretty good. Yes it doesn't compare to Dragons Crown but that doesn't make it a bad game. Also the voice acting and story are actually pretty good and so are the characters you meet. It's not a bad game by any stretch but yeah it won't be better than Dragons Crown.

The best thing about the game is probably the characters which is good because the localization and voice acting are top notch. Music is good too. I never played Guardian Heroes so the on the rail style beat em up was really interesting for me, though the gameplay itself can be sort of boring and tedious at times, The game also gets pretty challenging and fun at times, but it borders on being super cheap with you dying almost instantly to things beyond your control sometimes.

It's a nice game. You can get it on Steam which apparently fixes the slowdown of the 3DS version.

I wish the company who made it didn't go out of business so that they could make a sequel so that they could build upon and refine the foundation laid in the first game.
