Overclocked has the better plot, Record Breaker has the better gameplay, pacing, and bosses. Both are top tier DS RPGs. Also when it comes to music I think Record Breaker is more consistently good but Overclocked's standout tracks are better than anything in RB.

Haven't played the remakes but DeSu1 had better story, music, difficulty, and characters, DeSu2 had better core gameplay and Based Alcor.
