They don't blend into the image, skyrim shieds and swords have textures that go for realism (read:less color, looks more like real texture) while this keeps the Zelda cartoonish look, even someone who never played Zelda or Skyrim would be able to tell its a mod because of how out of place it looks, its like those Half-life mods where the custom content just clashes with the rest of the game
